LOVE ME

Do not love me like the wind,
the wind that ever changes,
unlike my constant
love for you.

Do not love me like the sun,
the sun who hides his fickle face
at Nature's whim
on inopportune days.

Do not love me like a kite,
a kite that soars so high,
then plummets
into broken disappointment.

But give me universe encompassing love,
immeasurable as stars,
beyond conceivable thought,
yet constant and eternal.
